Boston Human Rights aims to publish accurate, sourced reporting and analysis. This page describes our editorial standards and how to request a correction.
Editorial standards
- Every factual claim is attributed to a named source and linked where possible. We do not state what a person thinks, expects or believes unless quoting them with a source.
- News and analysis are separated from opinion, which is labeled.
- Claims we cannot confirm are labeled “unconfirmed” or “claimed by” the party making them.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and add a dated note at the end of the article (for example: “Correction, with the date: …”). We do not silently change substantive facts.
How to request a correction
Use our Contact page or email contact@bostonhumanrights.org with the article link and the source showing the error. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
